Innovation has always been the hallmark of Agua Fria High School creating a unique culture based on the importance and equality of individuals with a focus on innovation and achievement, all set within the context of community. In 2020, Agua Fria Union High School District responded to community concerns by taking the district’s guiding principles developed for Canyon View High School and transformed them through engagement with the school community to leverage existing conditions and embrace the culture and context of this 70-year-old high school to provide future facing teaching and learning spaces that will enable students for decades to come. The transformation of this West Valley icon enhances the heart of the campus through interconnectivity and cohesive indoor/outdoor learning environments.
