Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) & Life Cycle Assessments for Flooring Session

This course is designed to provide you with an understanding of what is Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and how does ANSI play a role in this potential for a new standard. We will dive in to the specifics, challenges and requirements associated with the installation of resilient and hybrid resilient floor covering as it relates to maintenance cost associated with an applied finish (waxes). We will review new and renovation installation of flooring, maintenance process variables between floor types, and cost impacts of different flooring types as it relates to Life Cycle Cost Assessments (LCCA).

Learning Objectives:

Understand TCO and ANSI.
Understand current research performed, who performed it, how it was funded and how AND why it is credible..
How applied coatings effect cost of ownership and the environmental impact of floor wax strippers.
Flooring types that have inherent finishes how that impacts cost of ownership and reduction in cost due to lower labor cost.
